Keyword Seasonality Analyzer

About Keyword Seasonality Analyzer

Some keywords sell all year, others explode for six weeks and vanish. The Keyword Seasonality Analyzer reads twelve months of search volume and tells you which kind you are dealing with, before you build a content calendar around the wrong assumption.

Enter your keyword and its monthly search volumes from any keyword tool. The analyzer finds the peak and quietest months, calculates a seasonality index, classifies the keyword, and works out when to publish so the page is ready before demand arrives.

How to read the results

  • Seasonality index: peak month divided by the average month. Near 1.0 means flat, 2.0 or more means the peak is double a normal month.
  • Highly seasonal: plan like a campaign, with publishing and link building finished months ahead of the peak.
  • Moderately seasonal: worth timing, but the page still earns traffic the rest of the year.
  • Evergreen: timing barely matters, publish when the content is at its best.

As a rule, publish two to three months before the peak: Google needs time to crawl, index and trust a page before the searches start.
