Backlink velocity is the pace at which a site gains new links, and search engines watch it closely. A steady climb looks natural, while a sudden vertical spike or a long flatline can both be warning signs for your SEO.
Paste your monthly new-link counts, oldest first, one per line, and click Track Velocity. The tool plots the trend, calculates month-over-month change, averages your pace and flags the spikes and drops that deserve a closer look.
