Backlink Growth Tracker

About Backlink Growth Tracker

Backlinks are a long game, and the trend matters more than any single snapshot. The Backlink Growth Tracker turns your periodic link counts, from a backlink checker, Search Console or a spreadsheet, into a clear picture of whether your profile is actually growing.

Paste one period per line as "label, count" (for example "Jan,120") or just the counts on their own. The tool calculates total growth from the first to the last period, the average per period, your best period, and draws a simple bar chart with a plain-English trend verdict.

What the results tell you

• Total growth: how many links you gained or lost across the whole window, in absolute numbers and percent.
• Average per period: your normal baseline, useful for spotting months that are unusually strong or weak.
• Best period: the peak to investigate, whatever campaign ran then is the one to repeat.
• Trend verdict: growing, flat or declining, with the next step for each situation.

Run it monthly with fresh exports and you will always know whether your link building is compounding or quietly stalling.
